As the War Meter climbs, more rewards are unlocking for everyone, and with that, comes the need for serious inventory space. We’ve finally tackled a long-standing bug that’s been quietly lurking since quests were first introduced. Players were getting hit with the dreaded “Not Enough Inventory Space” error, even when they had plenty of room.

Turns out, the quest system was checking for space for every possible reward, not just the one you actually received. So if a quest had five potential rewards, it demanded five open slots. Sneaky, right? This issue only became noticeable once we started stacking quests with tons of loot. But now? Fixed. Forever. (I hope)

Free Inventory Slots!

To celebrate the fix, and to help you hoard all those glorious rewards, we’ve added 10 extra inventory slots to every AQ3D player. And if you're a Guardian? You get and extra 10 making that 20 slots total. Thanks for sticking with us while we sorted this out!

Sandy Bones Pet

You asked, we listened. Sandy Bones has been reanimated into your very own skeletal beach buddy! The sandiest bones on the shore are now yours to command. Head to the War Shop and claim your new minion!

Umbrella Lance and Shield Variants

New loot alert! Umbrella Lance variants have been added to the drop pool across the shore. Every monster has a chance to drop them, so get out there and start slaying!

More Sandy Relics

Cat and Dog Day

It’s raining cats and dogs, literally. Cat and Dog Day is back, bringing a pile of adorable gear from onesies to housing items. The Social District has also been updated to welcome back Big Dog, Vicious Cat, and Astral Tiger. Meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeow!

Greenguard Saga: Guardians of Lore

Behind the scenes, the next chapter of our rebooted storyline is in motion. We're redesigning Battleon’s Guardians, inspired by the original AdventureQuest designs from my personal hero and close friend, Oishii.

Guardians will play a major role moving forward, and we’re exploring the idea of region-specific Guardian factions. Remember that Port Town we teased for the post-Greenguard saga? We’re imagining its Guardian Tower doubling as a lighthouse, with armor designs that reflect the region—think nautical, sea-faring vibes instead of the classic noble knight look.

A More Connected Lore

We’re building Lore to feel like a true world, not just a menu. No more relying on /join commands or clunky navigation. Our goal is seamless exploration, where each map connects naturally to the next. Here's a rough internal map to help visualize the branching paths of Greenguard and beyond. Each circle is a map, each line a pathway.
