Meet our Sweet Victors

Heroes. Friends. Fellow sugar-powered champions!

We have officially survived the most delicious contest of the year, and wow, wow, WOW. The 2025 Creative Cookie Contest absolutely obliterated our expectations… and possibly our diets. We saw magic, chaos, courage, frosting physics, flour power, and one candy tragedy that turned into the ultimate comeback story.

Let’s dive face first into the sweet, sweet victory!

Grand Prize: Cake’thulu by HeyKirby

Our Grand Prize Winner didn’t just simply bake a cake… she delivered a full cinematic experience!!! HeyKirby's entry had EVERYTHING, and we mean everything: ambition, creativity, cream cheese, drama, fondant, emotional damage in the form of shattered ~~dreams~~ candy, and the most beautiful comeback story arc we’ve seen all year.

Watching this hero adapt, rebuild, and refuse to give up was genuinely inspiring! Instead of letting disaster win, HeyKirby leveled up, reworked her strategy, and emerged victorious with a final creation that left everyone staring in awe like: “Is this IRL?”

It wasn’t just about how incredible the dessert looked… and it does look delectable!… but it was the perseverance, the heart, and the storytelling baked into every layer that stole the show, stole our hearts, and scored First Place. Congratulations you cooking Cake’thulu queen! 👸

HeyKirby’s entry is an absolutely wonderful reminder that heroes aren’t defined by setbacks or defeats; they are defined by how they rise afterward! Amazing and inspiring, gaaaahhhh!

Second Place Winners

This year we had TWO heroes tie for Second Place, and you’re about to see why.

Silariyas’s entry unlocked a new dessert subclass entirely. Jelly? Slime? Edible alchemy??

We still don’t fully understand how Silariyas achieved such wiggly sorcery, but we accept it, respect it, and demand three more immediately.

And then…

...then there’s dcdragonkingth’s Moglin cookies.

Actually, no — they’re not cookies. They’re fully-rendered edible NPCs. The detail. The color. The GRAPHICS. We should start a petition to make an entirely edible AQWorlds client because ~clearly~ the technology now exists. Mouth-watering magic, dcdragonkingth!

Both these entires are bursting with creativity and overflowing with Frostval spirit (and frosting), and both Silariyas and dcdragonkingth absolutely earned their spot for 2nd place.

Amazing work you two, and we cannot wait to see what you cook up next!

Third Place Winners

Here’s legit what happened behind the scenes:

Judges: “Okay, let’s pick our third place winner.”
Also judges: “But… what about this one?”
Also also judges: “Wait, THIS one though!”
Entire judging team: *internally screaming & perpetually drooling*

So instead of choosing just one third place winner… we uh-hem “narrowed” it down to EIGHT. Because the culinary creativity was simply too powerful to contain! Each of these entries brought bold ideas, stunning execution, delicious ingredients, and unique flair that demanded recognition. Demanded prizes. And that’s exactly what they’re getting!
