The race to complete development of AdventureQuest 3D's starting area is on... and the monster at the finishing line is terrifyingly awesome! Meet Gorthor. He enjoys long walks on the beach, movies, and is just looking for that special someone to brutally destroy and reanimate as his undead puppet. Vote Gorthor 2016 for evil undead overlord war fiend type thing!
The scary part? This wicked mega beast is not even finished yet. Dage is painting Gorthor's axe as I write this and Xero is working on whatever is happening in that hovering chain tummy region. Korin is knee deep in animating him... which is by far the most challenging part of this boss monster.
A few players commented that there are other monsters that bear a similar shape to Gorthor... sorta. From Centaurs to Chimeras hybrid beasts like this have long existed in mythology and fantasy. We hope that the horrificly terrify half humanoid, half quadruped that we are constructing stands out as being unique and special to you.
Gorthor's last X-Ray reveals what we have all feared.... he is a Skeleton on the inside too! To quote Undead Assault "Inside each and every one of us is an undead minion waiting to get out." Battle on!
