Welcome to the AdventureQuest 3D Help Pages/FAQ!

Please read through our different help sections to find the answers to any questions you have or you are welcome to email us at the bottom of the page!

Q. How do I create an AQ3D account?

That’s easy! Go to www.AQ3D.com and click on 'ACCOUNT.' You are now at the Account Manager and you can choose to create an AQ3D account with your email address or with Facebook!  Once you have created your account, you play via Steam or your Android device.

Q. How do I link my AQWorlds account or Artix (AE/Master) Account with my AQ3D account?

Once you create your AQ3D account, there is an option to link your AQWorlds and/or Artix (AE/Master) Account. This was for Alpha/Pre-Beta/Closed Beta, but you can still link to your accounts if you like, which would help us confirm account ownership if we ever needed to. Just enter your account name and password!

Q. What if I don't have access to my AQWorlds account, Artix (AE/Master) account or old Artix game accounts I want to link to my Artix account?

Once You can always email the Artix HelpTeam for assistance. You can either go to the AQWorlds Help Pages and use one of the email forms, go to the Portal Help Pages for Artix Account help and use one of the email forms or go to any other help pages for the games. You can also email the AQ3D Help email at the bottom of this page.

Q. How do I unlink an AQWorlds or Artix (AE/Master) Account from my AQ3D account?

Linking is permanent, so make sure you link your own account! Account sharing, trading, selling or gifting is not allowed!

Q. What if I have a linking issue with my AQWorlds or Artix (AE/Master) Account?

Linking is permanent, so please contact us through our email linked at the bottom of the page and send us as much information as possible so we can investigate what happened.

Q. What if I have an issue with the email address on my AQ3D account?

If you provided an incorrect or misspelled email for your AQ3D account, please contact us through our email linked at the bottom of the page and send us as much information as possible so we can investigate. If you have an issue with the email you use for Facebook, please contact Facebook directly. AQ3D will have functionality added in the future so you can change your own email.

Q. What if I forgot or lost my AQ3D account password?

You can visit the Reset Password page to have a new password sent to your AQ3D account email address. This is only for accounts that use an email as the login. If you cannot access your Facebook account, please contact Facebook directly for help.

Q. I can't login via Steam or my Android device, what do I do?

If you cannot login, this could be due to several reasons: either you haven't created an account yet with your email or Facebook, you forgot your password, or you are logging into the wrong account. Please always make sure you are logging into the correct account using which login you chose - your email or Facebook! You can always reset your password as per above, if you forgot it, or you can contact Facebook directly for assistance. If you think you are having a technical issue, please go to the Technical/Device Help section for more information.

Q. I'm locked out of my account, what now?

If you tried to login to your account too many times with the wrong password, your account is temporarily locked. You can visit the Reset Password page to have a new password sent to your AQ3D account email address. Your account may also been disabled due to some kind of payment issue or rule violation.

Q. My account is banned, disabled or muted, what did I do?

If an AQ3D Team member already banned, disabled or muted your account, it was because you were most likely doing something that is not allowed. AdventureQuest 3D falls under the Official Artix Entertainment Rules that are for all AE games. AdventureQuest 3D does have a 'no tolerance' policy for breaking any rules, such as cheating/hacking/botting, account sharing/trading/selling/gifting, etc. Please contact us through our email linked at the bottom of the page and send us as much information as possible so we can investigate what happened.

Q. I had an issue when creating my account (misspelled email, linked wrong account, etc), what do I do?

Please make sure to email us directly so we can assist you. AQ3D will have functionality added in the future so you can change your own email, change other things, etc.

Q. What happened to my old Tech Demo account?

All Tech Demo accounts were purged, they were never permanent testing accounts. The AQ3D Team did instruct all players to recreate their accounts in Alpha. If you did not recreate your account, you are welcome to do so now.

Q. I created my AQ3D account and my character but didn’t get the character name I want, how do I get it?

We are sorry, AQ3D character names are first come first serve! AQ3D is a new game and everyone is creating their account and characters with a clean slate! Character names do have to be 3 letters or more, and there are certain names that cannot be used, at our discretion. There is an option to purchase a name change for 900 Dragon Crystals if you login via our site at account.AQ3D.com.

Q. Can I delete an AQ3D character and create a new one?

You can only create one character for Open Beta currently, but you will be able to create more characters in the future, once that option is added to the game. If you don’t like the character you have, you can always delete it and create a new one, but any character names are first come first serve. You will keep any badges, packages, Dragon Crystals, etc.

Q. Will I be able to transfer items/characters/upgrades from other AE games to my AQ3D account?

We are sorry, but nothing will be able to be transferred from other AE games to AQ3D. AQ3D is an entirely new and different game.

Q. Is AQ3D a continuation of AQWorlds or AdventureQuest?

Nope! AQ3D is its own game, just as AQWorlds wasn’t tied directly to the AQ Classic timeline. You might see Drakath or encounter the Queen of All Monsters and her minions, or see Dragons and Zards, but they might take very different forms in AQ3D, and won’t be tied in any way to AQWorlds or any other game.

Q. Will AQ3D be updated weekly like the other Artix games have been?

AQ3D will have ongoing updates as much as possible. 3D games are completely different than 2D Flash games and content creation is quite a bit more involved. Also, rolling out weekly updates would bloat a mobile game to unusable proportions, even with the clever system that Zhoom is using to dynamically load and unload assets. AQ3D might have cycling shops and events that you only see on holidays, or weekly specials, or traveling sales-creatures that show up on a timed basis or certain dungeons that only open once a week, and AQ3D will add new items and classes and features, but not necessarily on a weekly basis.

Q. What was the Closed Beta test?

The Closed Beta testing stage was the version of the game after Alpha and Pre-Beta and before Open Beta, which was from July 27th, 2016 to October 19th, 2016. You could create an account via Steam with your email or Facebook account or with an Android device to help test and provide feedback! The web version was official discontinued as Unity would no longer be supported on web browsers. Any players who participated in the Alpha/Pre-Beta tests, or who pledged via the Kickstarter and their pledge included 'Early Access,' or who purchased the Guardian Founder package were eligible to help test the game in Closed Beta. Some Early Access codes were also given out across multiple MMO websites.

Q. What was the Pre-Beta test?

The Pre-Beta testing stage was the version of the game after Alpha and before the Closed/Open Beta stages, which was from January 14th, 2016 to July 27th, 2016. You could create an account via Web or Steam with your email or Facebook account to help test and provide feedback! Any players who participated in the Alpha test, or who pledged via the Kickstarter and their pledge included 'Early Access,' or who purchased the Guardian Founder package were eligible to help test the game in Pre-Beta.

Q. What was the Alpha test?

The Alpha testing stage was the version of the game before Pre-Beta, which started on August 3rd, 2015 and ended on January 14th, 2016. Only players who upgraded in any of AE's other Flash based web games (such as AdventureQuest, DragonFable, MechQuest, AQWorlds, EpicDuel, HeroSmash or OverSoul) could help test in Alpha. Once you created your AQ3D account, you had to link your Artix (AE/Master) Account (that has linked upgraded AE accounts) or your AQWorlds account to your AQ3D account. All Alpha characters were wiped when Alpha testing was over, but any characters names were not. Character names were first come first serve.

Q. What was the AQ3D Tech Demo?

The Tech Demo was the very first testing phase for AQ3D that was from November 24th, 2014 - August 3rd, 2015. If you were an AQWorlds Legend/Member, you could login, create a character and become one of the very first players to see the game and help test! All accounts from the Tech Demo were purged (which was always going to happen) and all players will need to create a new AQ3D account and character to test Alpha.

Q. Do I get anything special in AQWorlds or any other AE games for participating in any of the testing stages?

Any AQWorlds Legends/Members who participated in the Tech Demo, created a character, and helped test the game received the AQ3D Tech Demo badge and the AQ3D Tech Demo Starsword on 8/3/15! For those who participated in the Tech Demo and Alpha test, go to Melodia in Yulgar's Inn to get the Alpha armor set! There will be no other badges/items you can get in AQWorlds or any other AE games for testing AQ3D.

Q. Do I get anything for participating in the original AQ3D Legends of Lore Alpha from 2012?

Any players who helped test the original AQ3D Legends of Lore Alpha, created a new AQ3D account in Alpha and linked their Artix Account they used for Legends of Lore in 2012, will also be eligible to receive the Alpha Knight armor set by talking to Melodia in Yulgar's Inn!

Q. What happened to the original AQ3D game, Legends of Lore?

Read about the original AQ3D, Legends of Lore here!

Q. When will AQ3D choose new devs, mods or testers for the game?

AQ3D will be using the same hiring system that all of the games currently use. If you are interested in joining the team, here is more information! Keep checking the AQ3D site for updates.

Q. Where can I post suggestions for the game?

Currently, AQ3D has a very big list of things they need to get done and things they want to get done, but they are always open to considering your ideas too! Unfortunately they won’t be able to respond to every idea but you can post ideas directly to the AQ3D Facebook page! You can also post suggestions via the AQ3D Game Forum, but you do have to have an Artix Account and Forums Account to post.

Q. I didn't get a chance to pledge via Kickstarter or purchase a Backer package via AQ3D.com. Can I still support the game?

The Guardian/Founder package was available during Pre-Beta, but did not include the Kickstarter exclusives as the Kickstarter ended on Jan 1st, 2016. In Closed/Open Beta, there are two new Guardian packages added and Dragon Crystals packages added (micro-currency.)

Q. When will I receive my Kickstarter/AQ3D.com Backer Package rewards?

The Backer packages are considered 'pre-orders.' This means you are paying for something that has not been released yet to guarantee you receive that specific package. The content included in the Backer Package you purchased will be delivered to you when it is finished being developed. Character pages are live now so you can see the badges you were awarded. Please make sure you fill out the Kickstarter survey if you did pledge via their site so the AQ3D Team makes sure to add your rewards to your correct accounts. If you did fill out the survey with the incorrect account login information, please email us via our email form at the bottom of the page. If you purchased a Backer Package via AQ3D.com, we already have your account information!

Q. I paid for a Backer Package via Kickstarter/AQ3D.com, how come I don't have my badges/rewards?

If you did not receive your Kickstarter badges/rewards and you filled out the Kickstarter survey with incorrect login information or are having other issues, please email the Artix HelpTeam via the email form at the bottom of the page for help.

Q. How do I receive the cross-game Kickstarter rewards?

If you purchased a Backer package via Kickstarter that comes with cross-game rewards for AdventureQuest Worlds, DragonFable and AdventureQuest, then we can tell you how to receive these rewards! Please login to your AQ3D account at account.AQ3D.com. Then at the right side of the Account Manager, you should see an option for your 'Kickstarter Hero Rewards.' Then you will see a code to redeem - click that and you are automatically taken to your Artix Account to redeem the code. Then you can choose which one of your linked AQWorlds/DragonFable/AdventureQuest accounts you would like to receive the rewards for. You do have to have an Artix Account linked to your AQ3D account and your AQW/DF/AQ accounts linked to your Artix Account to receive your rewards. In AQWorlds, you will receive a badge and access to a shop in your Book of Lore. In DragonFable, you will receive a special 'Kickstarter Token' that is automatically added to your character's inventory and then you will receive items when they are ready. For AdventureQuest, the reward items (Kickstarter Might Weapon and Kickstarter Hero Armor) are automatically added to your inventory.

Q. I purchased a Guardian package, how do I get the Guardian class/armor?

Once you have purchased and received one of the Guardian packages, simply login to your account and login to your character. At the right of the screen is the Game Menu which lists your classes. Click on the Guardian class to equip it. Once you equip your Guardian class, you will also have the Guardian armor equipped. The Guardian armor is the default or 'base' armor for the Guardian class so you will always be wearing it when you have the Guardian class equipped. You can get more items by talking to the NPC in front of the Guardian Tower.

Q. What is the difference between the Pre-Beta Guardian Founder package and the new Guardian packages?

The Guardian Founder package that was available in Pre-Beta gave Early Access and more item rewards/Dragon Crystals than the new packages as a thank you to those players who helped test during that stage. The two new Guardian packages offer multiple item rewards, Dragon Crystals and other benefits for the game. There is also a Collectors Edition Guardian package with more stuff!

Q. Will AQ3D have any other kind of upgrades, memberships, micro-currency, when it is released?

AQ3D has two new Guardian packages (see above) and Dragon Crystals packages (micro-currency.)

Q. What is your Refund Policy?

The refund policy for AQ3D is very similar to the official Artix Entertainment Refund Policy, except that you can make purchases via Steam, Google Play for Android devices and the App Store for iOS devices (when that version of the game is approved.) If you have any questions about a payment or to see if you are eligible for a refund, please email the Artix HelpTeam at the bottom of the page.

Q. I have a payment question that is not answered here, now what?

The Artix HelpTeam is always available via email. Please contact them via the email form at the bottom of the page.

Q. What devices can I use to play the game?

In Open Beta, players are able to play the game via Steam and Android devices. iOS testing is coming soon. Please keep checking the site for updates!

Q. Will the game be able to played by any other devices in the future?

The AQ3D does hope that they can release the game on Windows Mobile devices, Kindle devices, Linux, Apple TV, and select gaming consoles, based on time, community interest and the games' success.

Q. Why can't I login to the game?

We are sorry you are having an issue. If you are playing via Steam or your Android device and the game is crashing for you or you cannot login into the server, please email us via our email at the bottom of the page or you can report this issue to the Bug Team via the Bug Hunter System.

Q. What if I have an older device, will I be able to play the game?

All modern generation devices will be able to play. The older/weaker the device is, the less chance that you will be able to play it but the AQ3D Team are trying to get the game to play on as many devices as possible.

Q. Will I need to be connected to the Internet to play AQ3D?

Yes, either over your cellular network or Wifi/wired connection. AQ3D is a real-time, MMO which is really not the kind of game you can play offline.

Q. How do I report a bug?

If you come across a bug/glitch, etc. while testing AQ3D, please report it via the Bug Hunter System.

Contact the Artix HelpTeam via our email form, please make sure to include as much information as possible so we can help!
